I have been in the business for nearly 20 years. I have had the extreme honor of traveling all over to teach, perform, coach, and mentor. I have produced for some of the biggest events in my industry. I have competed at the highest level possible. I have headlined some of the most incredible events in the world. The first half of my career was dedicated to bringing New Orleans burlesque to the masses. After the pandemic, I felt a strong pull to put that same amount of energy into the city and cultivate a culture of hospitality, high quality entertainment, and breathe some new life into our scene. I feel honored to be a part of the post Katrina burlesque revival and I am very excited to see what the post pandemic revival will look like. In the Spring of 2024, I was presented with an amazing opportunity to acquire my own venue and bar called The Original Nite Cap. Alongside my husband and business partner, we are bringing burlesque and live entertainment back to St. Bernard Ave. With the guidance and blessing of Big Chief Alfred Doucette (who previously owned the Nite Cap in the 70s), we are committed to honoring the history of the 7th Ward, create a space where ALL are welcome, and add to the current bustling nightlife of the strip. I have always dreamed of being the headmistress of my own club and I pull my inspiration from some of the great women in New Orleans who helped pave the way including (but not limited to) Chef Leah Chase, Ms. Ella Brennan, Chris Owens, Ti Martin, and so many more.
