Who is Bella Blue?
Hi there. I am Bella Blue.
I have been dancing for as long as I can remember. I got put into dance classes like any other average 3 year old and can remember crying my eyes out for my entire first class. Those tears turned to joy as a weekly dance class quickly turned into my life long passion and I have been moving my body ever since. I began to take dance classes every night of the week. I attended The New Orleans Center for Creative Arts and upon graduation, decided to enter into the workforce but, I always had my sites set on becoming a dancer. Shortly after Hurricane Katrina, I joined a burlesque troupe on a whim. One year after that, I set foot on the stage of the fanciest Bourbon Street strip club on my first day as a stripper. Those two decisions changed my life for the better in ways that I could never have imagined. I have had the privilege of touring all over the United States and Europe teaching movement and headlining burlesque festivals, events, and showcases. I also teach pole dance and coach strength, flexibility, and floorwork. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, I decided to attend college and in 2023, I earned my Associate of Arts Degree in American Sign Language Interpreting. I am currently slowly pursuing my bachelor’s in Deaf Studies from Gallaudet University. As of June 1st, 2024, I am can now say that I am one of the proud owner’s of The Original Nite Cap which is my bar and event space as well as Pulcinella! Italian Cuisine. Consider this website as a peek inside. Thank you for being here and I hope to entertain you soon.
Thank you,
Bella
